The Corfu Foundation supports preventive, holistic approaches that target the following areas of interest:

  • Spiritual expansion
  • Ecological sustainability
  • Mind/body well-being
  • Leadership

Funding is directed at seed projects and innovative ideas that may fall outside the parameters of mainstream philanthropy.

Support is provided in the form of:

  • Project grants
  • Fellowship grants for individuals
  • Matching grants

The Foundation funds research, workshops, conferences, and the production of documentaries and books that align with its core areas of interest.  We encourage those who have become successful with the support of the Corfu Foundation to continue in the spirit of generosity.

Application Guidelines

The Corfu Foundation typically awards grants in the range of $5,000-$20,000. The process for applying for support begins with a one-page Letter of Intent. Please include the following:

  • Individual/organization’s name, address, website, and key contact person
  • Description of the project and the need it serves
  • How the project aligns with Corfu Foundation’s mission
  • Amount of funding you are applying for and how you would allocate it

Letters of Intent may be submitted on a rolling basis to: info@corfufoundation.org; however, letters must be received by September 15 or March 15 to be considered during the Foundation’s biannual board review process. After reading your Letter of Intent, if we feel your project meets our criteria, we will invite you to submit a full proposal.  Unfortunately, we are not able to respond in writing to all letters received. Proposals are reviewed by invitation only.
